gotham knight takes place after batman begins and before the dark knight - not exactly a good reason since at the end of batman begins, we all know that little implication - but at the same time, the animators probably didnt know exactly how ledger was gonna do joker, and it'd be odd for a movie meant to be a continuity of others to go and do something different like that

The exaggerated features and over the top animation is a big part of what makes japanese anime attractive to audiences. It's not the "best" form of animation, if one can even quantity such a thing, but it has some obvious strengths and its nice to see a new spin on batman. I loved the 1992 Batman:TAS and I also happen to like Batman Beyond. I can enjoy different ways of telling the Batman story. :)

I agree. Roger Moore had nothing of the literary Bond. Brosnan did lose it with the last couple, but GoldenEye i think hits it fairly close - the emotional detachment, the sardonic quips - in many ways, GE is a glossy precursor to the Craig films. A nice mix of Moore's campness and Dalton/Craig's pure awesome.

GREAT song! But Dalton was a sad excuse for a Bond! Gladys was obviously brought in to bolster the film with her great vocals! I think she is the only Motown artist (as in once recorded on Motown) to do a Bond film theme. Am I right? Diana Ross should be lined up for one... but the composers seem to ... er ... shall we say... lacking in class today! Bond is class! Not the cr...p they have put out this year! A disgrace to cinema!

Not sure you can compare that to Eddie's playing. I mean, he revolutionalized guitarplaying and the tapping technique which originally stems from classical music. I think Eddie used this technique first time live in 1976 so it's not that much later. Still, I love Steve's playing, he is a very unique guitarist just like Fripp or Belew. Brilliant!
